Planning a Destination Wedding
Considering Aspen for your perfect romantic destination wedding location? Lots of couples are skipping traditional, fancy church weddings and choosing more exotic locations. Consider making it an “all inclusive” experience for your guests by getting married at one of our luxury vacation home rentals! Here are some tips to keep in mind. Reserve wedding venues and accommodations early. Instead of reserving blocks of rooms for guests at a hotel, consider renting a vacation rental for friends and family. When you book a destination wedding, you can save money by combining the honeymoon with the wedding location. Use the cost savings for a down payment on a new home or a child’s college fund.
Consider the weather and time of year. Do your weather research. We offer travel insurance in case something happens that delays your wedding. Better to postpone a trip for a few weeks rather than cancel it altogether! Weather predictions are never completely reliable, so make a rain plan, whether that’s moving the ceremony inside or providing your guests with umbrellas. We want your wedding to be as special and unique as the bride and groom. Ask us about the best wedding packages in the area.

Whether your wedding is big or small, simple or elaborate, we recommend thoroughly researching musicians, florists, caterers, photographers, DJs and the like before cutting a check. Trustworthy vendors will happily supply list of references and testimonials. Smart brides should anyone that cannot provide this standard information. Ideally, the bride or groom will be able to visit the wedding site ahead of time to meet with vendors in person. If this isn’t possible, the wedding coordinator or a destination wedding consultant should be able to deliver a list of qualified vendors. We’re also delighted to help.
